Did I mention that shootouts suck?  That was a hellacious move by Giroux and all, but it's not hockey IMO.
 
And Buffalo beat Ottawa in a shootout - basically a worst-case outcome for the Leafs: two points for the Sabres and a bonus one for the Sens.  -_-
 
On a somewhat related note: The Buf-Ott shootout was pretty entertaining. Bishop is a monstrosity in net, he looks like a giant.

I think Kessel was a little off all night. Passes in the skates, missed nets, the dreaded drop pass.

It's to be expected as he's adjusting to the loss of Lupul but he definitely didn't have a strong game tonight.
 
I don't think Kessel is happy with the Ron Wilson firing turning of events.  He wants to score and a defensive system isn't the way he wants to go about doing that.
 
Why don't they use Bozak more in shootouts, he was 3-for-5 going in and this was his first attempt all year? He had Bryzgalov beat too, unfortunate.

Giroux's move was the kind of thing I was hoping Grabovski would bust out.

Kessel getting mad at the cameraman after his missed breakaway was kinda funny.

One of the best Gustavsson games all year, he didn't have to be brilliant, but he just looked calm and collected in net, which is a nice change from his usual "spaz-tastic".

I'm pretty sure the Leafs record is very good when Kessel scores. Your comment is just nuts and a byproduct of a Leafs loss. Really, Rose hill? Really?
