Yes they can as long as no one else puts a claim in for him. Leafs would have had first chance at him to but he's played too many games. I think this is a no brainer for the Leafs. If I'm not mistaken, I think the Leafs are the only team that could claim Pickard and send him directly to the Marlies since we originally lost him on waivers. If another team puts in a claim he has to stay up in the NHL.
Not sure any other team puts a claim on him based on his numbers.
