Steve Dangle Podcast yesterday (Dec 30th) said Murray is hurt, haven't seen anything official. Maybe they were just goofing. take it for what it's worth.

Dangle's a blow hard and if he is indeed hurt, I'm pretty sure they can't send him down. The move is more likely due to waivers

I swear we could all coach a better powerplay.

1) Never drop pass more than one zone
2) stop doing the half board zone entry
3) don't dump the puck into the zone if all the forward are stationary at the blueline before the dump in
4) if you spend more than 5 seconds in the same physical spot on the ice...get off the ice
5) if your name is Morgan Rielly you are banned from passing back to the same player who passed to you

Man the broadcast goes out of their way to try and inflate Reaves. Every time he throws a hit it's acted like he threw a massive open ice crusher....

You would think the players could run a better power play themselves without any coaching. Just let them wing it like we used to do in road hockey. Looks like they're thinking too much, not sure when to do what.

Can the Leafs fire Marc Savard already? Islanders have the worst PK in the league but against Savard's PP they look like the 70s Habs

I'd blame Marc Savard but he wasn't the guy coaching the power play last season.

Two different coaching staffs haven't been able to figure it out. I don't study these things closely enough to know how much difference there is between what they are asking them to do but maybe they need to mix up the groups a bit more.
