I agree. I think Colborne needs to be given a whole lot of slack on that injury, just because of what it was and how it was handled IMO.
Before the injury he was pretty good and now after, he's doing about what you'd like to see from him. There was just a big gap in production during the recovery, tendons take a long time to fully heal, especially when he wasn't pulled out to let it heal. He was taking face offs and taking shots, which I don't think I would have made that decision with him, if I was in charge of it.
