? no points in last 4 games = hot?
Maybe he meant this?
Methinks he looks better without his jersey. ;D

10 points and a +10 in his last 9 games, now on a 22 goal/50 point pace for the year.

Potvin29 said:Franson's on pace for almost 56 points. Only 2 D finished with more than that last season.

Still only 12th in scoring among defencemen oddly enough. Looks like 18 defencemen are on pace for 50+ points right now. Just 8 hit that mark last season. Some will low down and injuries will probably prevent a few from hitting 50, but a lot of d-men are putting up points this season.

After they lost to the Devils, not long after the fiasco of the Nashville and Buffalo games, I thought they were in trouble with the upcoming schedule of Vancouver, Calgary, Detroit twice and LA.
As in recent seasons past, I do not have a very good handle on this team.
sneakyray said:also, watching calgary and LA, these so-called hard working teams seem to get away with a ton of interference. maybe reputation non-calls or maybe it is harder to call when they always have their feet moving? just a thought that I have noticed lately.

So many teams bunched together also. Nine wins in eleven games and the Leafs haven't really pulled away from the pack or anything. Lose 3-4 in a row and they would be knocked out of a playoff spot.
