I know RW and ROW are tie breakers but the Leafs have a depleted defense but 2 points are two points.  6-1-1 in their last 8 games with Matthews doing nothing and Nylander cooling off. 

I guess that?s the positive way to look at this, but no way this roster can compete in the playoffs. They?ll get destroyed.

Didn't know the playoffs started. There's still over 60 games to go.

I would modify your claim to say that this team is a good team, but not as good as they were last year.  Barring injuries to the Core 4, I think they should make the playoffs.  But I don't see them doing much.

Sure. They?re an ok team. But they?ve taken a big step back from last season. Last season I really felt this team was solid at both end of the ice.

...well, I just unlocked some PTSD.  But yeah, I think this team is at least better than that one.

I thought that was a pretty ugly effort. I'm not sure they deserved a point.
Half their top 6 D is out so I guess they have some excuse.
But the Kraken are not that great yet they carried the last two periods.

They're close to last year's team in points so they're not terrible.
But I think last year's team was a better team.
They're is something wrong with this group. It is not just the dmen. I do not think the forwards are as good defensively either.
EDIT: some of that might have something to do with the changes to the system Keefe implemented at the start of the season

His percentage has gone up since early on. He's at 51% now.

This is my biggest fear with his new contract. Guy has almost never been 100% through his whole career.
