I have no concern with Woll when healthy, the issue with him will always be, can he actually play a significant amount of games and avoid injury?Lots of focus on the excellent play of the first two forward lines last night with some very pretty goals....even the open netter was (as someone on here said 'a math lesson').
Yet let's not overlook the solid goaltending of Woll.
Really though, as cute as that play is, it wasn't the brightest play I've seen. He was on the home side of the redline. If that puck misses the net, it's an icing and the pressure is back on with 1:45 to play in the game.
Disagree. They were already gassed and he had 2 guys on him, doubtful he was getting to the red line. There was no doubt that puck was going to miss and had it, they would have gotten a short rest.Really though, as cute as that play is, it wasn't the brightest play I've seen. Yeah. Also, Seattle probably calls a timeout in the situation, considering their guys were also plenty gassed. They also had a two goal cushion, so, there was some room for error.Disagree. how about that goal by the oilers after Tkachuk slid in to stop the shot at the line and then ultimately the next shot went in (i think McDavid). That was the greatest empty net goal I have ever seen.
