Leafs @ Bruins - Apr. 12th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

I really don't mind the penalty to Kadri but the missed elbow to Marner's face.  It's just frustrating to watch the inconsistent calls.

Yeah, Kadri will likely be gone for at least 1.  But I don't blame him too much.

Why? He got five and a game for finishing his check when the guy was in a slightly vulnerable position after elbowIng Marner. That should be enough.

The refs have made this unwatchable.

If they jive Kadri anything then Wingers should get something to for the elbow

5 minutes and a game for that? Ridiculous.

You don't think intentionally trying to asscheck a guys head off is worth that?

I don't think he did that intentionally, at all. Wingels wasn't on his knees when Kadri started in, and it looked to me like he tried unsuccessfully to avoid a direct hit to the head. If that was intentional, Wingels would have been out cold.

Or, Wingels saw it coming and moved out of the way as best he could.

It was absolutely intentional.  He even left his feet to line his butt up with Wingels' head.

I feel like we saw very different plays.

Who cares. He elbowed Marner and got what he deserved. Too bad.

Watch just before the hit - he shifts his hip/butt towards the head.

He has a good view of the situation and a decent amount of time leading up to the hit.
