I personally think that Matthews is playing hurt.  Whatever happened to him early in the season really affected him this year.  The organization was really hush hush about it.  I still don't even know what happened to him.  Also later in the season he got sandwiched and had a shoulder injury.  That could have aggravated the earlier injury.  I just find Matthews has been playing too passively and too soft and this is the only reasonable conclusion I can come up with.
Or the team just generally hasn't had a good four games except maybe Marner. I don't think too many other players are having a big impact in general either.

I'm pretty happy with these actually.
Nylander on the fourth line by the looks of it. Hopefully it'll wake him up in a big way. Like 3 or 4 goals big.

Who's kidding who, I'd be happy with one goal from him tonight.

Might be the last game of the season so all I can say is...

GO LEAFS GO!

Must have pulled something while skating. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Maybe just trying to lull Cassidy into suiting up an enforcer.... haha. Didn't work.

It's very weird to me that GLC stops caring about blackouts restrictions during the playoff... or is that just my account?

I kind of want to see Babcock shift to
Plekanec - Matthews - Brown
Johnsson - Nylander - Hyman

partway through to get that weird Plekanec burr into Marchand/Bergeron's heads

I am serene, but my head tells me they are in tough.  I am sure of one thing, though: it would be advisable for Freddie not to give up a bad goal on Boston's first shot.

Lol, is that ever advisable?
That's like saying the goalie made timely saves.

Heck, even if it's a good goal... Freddie needs to be superman on the first shot.

Pretty sure it was with Sparks in 15/16.
