Leafs @ Bruins - Feb. 4th, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

https://www.nhl.com/news/maple-leafs-lose-coachs-challenge-on-bruins-goal/c-286444154?tid=277729160

At 2:17 of the first period in the Maple Leafs/Bruins game, Toronto requested a Coach's Challenge to review whether Boston was off-side prior to David Pastrnak's goal.

After reviewing all available replays and consulting with the linesman, NHL Hockey Operations staff was inconclusive in determining whether Boston was off-side prior to the goal. According to Rule 78.7, "If a review is not conclusive and/or there is any doubt whatsoever as to whether the call on the ice was correct, the On-Ice Official(s) will be instructed to confirm their original call."

Therefore the original call stands - good goal Boston Bruins.

Since the Coach's Challenge did not result in the original call being overturned, the Toronto Maple Leafs forfeit their time-out.

This is pretty interesting to me. So the call after the review was basically "?\_(ツ)_/?", and the Leafs still lose their timeout because of it.

I don't really care about the new pants, but what kind of Mickey mouse league makes its players change equipment halfway through a season?

Yeah, that's the bigger issue to me here. Pretty weird. Just wait for next season, what's the big deal?

Have you been a fan of the NHL for a while now?  ;)

Love when Matthews steals the puck.

Looked like Kadri popped the puck of the Bruin stick to Matthews.

And did Nylander then try to knock that fan's beer down? Good show.
