Leafs @ Canadiens - Feb. 8th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

Garbage.  They gave away 2 awesome periods by quitting.  They refuse to try after the 2nd period.  What will it take for them to actually compete in the 3rd period?

I wonder if the illness that?s keeping Nylander out of the lineup is effecting more of the roster. Would explain some of why they look so sluggish in the 3rd periods of late.

Yes, I don't agree with Strangelove here.  Fatigue is fatigue no matter when it happens in the season.  They plainly looked out of gas the whole third period.  Not surprising since the whole game the first 2 was up and down.

Too bad.  But what a game.

What do you mean what a game?  16-1 in the 3rd period.  That was embarrassing.

I thought it was a great game entertainment wise

1st two periods were, both teams competed.  After the 2nd intermission only one team showed up.  That?s not entertaining.

I dunno why the schedule makers have the leafs play back to backs against a rested Habs team every game
There's no reason for any team to play back to back games.

This is insane.  They are professional athletes.  They can?t play two nights in a row?

Def out of gas. Looks like we have a back up tho! Leafs took 3 out of 4 on back to back nights. All good.

It's just become so routine to expect a bad 2-1 or breakaway against in OT while we have to actually work to gain the zone most of the time. I don't think it's much to ask for them to make a responsible play if you don't have a good avenue to score or the play is high risk. Barrie has terrible decision making instincts.

This one stings.
Not really. They got a point on a back to back, we'll take it. Habs got there goals on Leaf shots. Campbell is good.

It sucks when they lose to the Habs.  Especially when that loss gets the Habs back in the playoff race.
