He did grow up the son of a very wealthy hockey player.Britishbulldog said:I was kind of embarrassed for Tkachuk for how he responded. It was really the response I would expect from a spoiled child not a professional adult hockey player.
It was really weird

Calgary Flames media is pretty much the same as their oil media.

Bahaha... I loved his hissy fit. This guy puts all is weight via 2 knees on the back of our goalie's head and also rode Matthews into the boards at high speed the next game. What a lunatic loosing his mind like that over Muzzin flicking the puck at him after his relentless antics. We got the best of him for a change.OldTimeHockey said:herman said:https://twitter.com/ericfrancis/status/1354286280083968001

Yes, because jumping on a goalies head like hacksaw Jim Duggan was completely above board and not bushleague at all
Ray just checks all the boxes. He's likeable, he's articulate, he's insightful and routinely observes and highlights worthwhile overlooked details in the game, he's honest in his assessments, he gets genuinely enthusiastic about plays in the best possible way (see Pierre McGuire for the worst possible way), and he knows when to talk. In my mind, he does all of this better than any other hockey analyst I've ever heard. If I hear a punctuated "wow!" from Ray when I'm distractedly watching a game, I drop everything and wait for the replay, because it's going to be good.Rob said:Heroic Shrimp said:Guilt Trip said:L K said:Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate said:L K said:There have been four plays where the Calgary player has taken down a Leaf in front of the Calgary net and sure enough Calgary gets the first powerplay
They have zero shots on goal so far. That cannot be allowed to stand, don't you see?
I was just thinking how last year Jim Hughson wouldn?t have shut up about the Leafs not having a shot 10 minutes into the period. Where is the info graphic indicating no shots
Like Cuthbert calling the games. Not sold on Cassie yet but she's better then Craig Simpson.
For the moment I'm watching on the Sportsnet app on my PS4, which is carrying the Flames feed. Kelly Hrudey is doing the analysis. He's so-so in the role, not really adding much.
Nobody is better than Ray Ferraro in my books, not even close.
Ray is the man. I'd listen to him read the phone book.
I don't remember seeing when the Leafs had a habit of losing games after blowing leads like last night. Maybe back in the first season back in 16/17. They still lead last night going into the 3rd period and their record when leading going into the 3rd is really good.cabber24 said:It definitely felt like a game the Leafs would loose the last few seasons. If the Leafs blew a lead like that during the past 3 years they would definitely loose the game. The Boyd and Marner goals both surprised me... not part of the Leafs usual script. A truly massive goal and spectacular shot by Marner. A season pace setting goal. They're changing the narrative.

You can honestly read it either way.Deebo said:bustaheims said:If it's a trend in Calgary, it's because his teammates are sick of these useless displays of anger off the ice.
That's what I thought Strickland meant here, not that they should have jumped in.

Strickland is cozy with the Tkachuk's, would never say something bad about Keith's boys. He's definitely criticizing the Flames for not sticking up for him.
I don't know how you could read it the other way tbh.CarltonTheBear said:Deebo said:bustaheims said:If it's a trend in Calgary, it's because his teammates are sick of these useless displays of anger off the ice.
