It's both unbelievable and beautiful at the same time.bustaheims said:mirtle: Leafs fall to 4-22-2 in their last 28 games. Unbelievable.

Kessel at least looks like he's trying some of the time. JVR has been completely invisible (which I guess is a good thing).Frank E said:I haven't been watching all the games, but man, Kessel and JVR really don't look like themselves.

I was going to post that Connor McDavid is smiling just a little bit bigger, but then I read even he thinks it's hard to be a Leaf fan right now.
?With the Leafs and how they?ve been playing of late, it?s hard to be a Leafs fan right now,? McDavid said. ?Your loyalty goes to the team you?re playing for.?
With our luck, we'll win the lottery and he'll pull a Lindros on the Leafs.
crazyperfectdevil said:the leafs almost finished last the year lindros came up didn't they? though i think they'd already traded their first round pick....i wonder how things would have played out though if they had of had their first and got lindros
bustaheims said:Amazingly, a few seasons later, after the lottery was introduced, they traded what would ultimately become the 4th overall pick to the Islanders, who used it to draft Roberto Luongo. Had the lottery turned out differently, that pick could have been Joe Thornton.
The Leafs have made some really bad decisions in terms of trading 1st round picks.
Joe S. said:What's crazy about that trade is that it wasn't just the pick, it was Kenny Jonsson too, just to get Wendel Clark back.
Another in the top 5 worst trades of all time... It's a long list...
Chris said:Just went back and looked at that draft (referring to the Lindros year). Leafs had also traded their second round pick (of course). There were a lot of impact players in those two rounds...Forsberg, Rolston, Kovalev, Naslund, Whitney. Ozolinsh, Palffy, Zhitnik, and William Nylanders father would all have been available at the Leafs second round spot.
