injuries cant be excuse tonight..they are missing top 4 D. but the 5 games in 7 day card i am sure will be played..Hopefuly Reimer has his confidence and plays well in front of family and friends

Ok. My optimism is wavering.

I'm predicting a loss tonight on the 2nd half of a back to back road game.

Shanahan's trigger finger is getting itchy....

Komarov Santorelli  Kessel
JVR        Bozak          Panik
Winnik    McKegg    Ashton
Booth    Smith      Clarkson

Play 4th line more than avg of 3 minutes. Don't let Bozak exceed 20. Clarkson should be capped at 10+ and shouldn't be allowed to even watch a PP from the bench, let alone play on one. Let Gardiner and Reilly skate.

Good thing we signed that Robidas guy to a 3-year contract.  I would hate to think where we would be without him.

Kypreos and Hrudey don't respect players who don't fight then? Poking holes in pro-fighting arguments is so easy.

I don't think you can make that leap from their convo.

They said that they respect a player when he drops the gloves. Did they not respect him before he dropped them? Do they respect that player more than somebody who didn't fight?

Lines in warm-up, per Paul Hendrick:

Komarov-Bozak-Kessel
JVR-Smith-Santorelli
Panik-McKegg-Clarkson
Booth-Winnik-Ashton

Likely just Randy being Randy in the warm-ups though and things will change when it starts.

I took it as a discussion of an example of how respect can be earned. I certainly don't think they meant people to extrapolate that as the only way.
