"Quarter pole" reference!

19789999.jpg

In all my years around here, the second most wonderful thing I've enjoyed is learning new things.

I credit many of you for this education.

I did not know the quarter pole was defining what was remaining in a horse race, as opposed to what was completed.

And the first most wonderful ... ?

Watching Nik drive people to Internet anger management therapy.

Haha scoring opportunity on the Matthews line ends up being Hyman because everyone else is busy dangling into the zone.

I don't understand why it keeps happening. Is it Babcock's fault for not getting them ready or is it the players. They are professionals. If they don't want to come out ready to play then maybe some of them need to see the game from the press box.

Watching the way they're starting to take control here in the 3rd, I'm leaning towards it being too much line-match and assignments, not enough rolling over the lines and letting the guys just play their game. They could just be starting the games overthinking, trying to feel their way in instead of just playing.

Would have liked that Hyman chance to have been on Nylander's stick as part of triplet line full press.

Hard to keep a full court press up if they?re all on one line.

I?ll co-sign this. Dictate your game. Make them play your way.
