You just knew that they were going to score with Corrado in the box. Nice knowing ya, Frankie.

Kind of get that feeling.

So that was the worst PP ever...

All 98 or whatever lbs of Marner outworking two pens D along the boards to come up with the loose puck.

I'd say he's been the team's best player so far.  You watch his junior highlights and you think, well, he won't be able to control the puck like that in the bigs.  But he does.

Agreed. I think he's been the most pleasant surprise of the season so far.

Team hanging in there with the reigning champions. Much more encouraging performance than against LA, even if it does go south from here

Shucks. Andersen's been playing really well too. Late goals are always the worst.

Both PIT goals were a bit fortunate for them.  We've gone toe to toe with the champs so far.

Wasn't blown away by hunwick's effort on that goal. People rip on Polak, but at least he usually makes the crease an unpleasant place to stand in.

Is it me or does Matthews misfire a lot? Maybe I just have eyes on him more intently, but it feels like he has more pucks slip off his stick than anyone else.
