Leafs outshoot them 14-7 and the Corsi For is 17 each and Leafs' Fenwick For was 15 to 12.

So...not after the 1st at least. PP didn't prop up their ES play in the 1st.

Mirtle has ES possession at 64% for Pittsburgh, so . . .

See the link I just posted. I'm on mobile so maybe I'm missing something. Don't know where he gets his either.

I think the numbers you're looking at are for all situations. I took a look at the various charts they have available, and the 5 on 5 ones show things significantly in Pittsburgh's favour.

I wasn't aware drawing penalties obligated the coach to playing him on the PP. Especially when he's been terrible on it.

No, no he has not and if your argument is that Clarkson is more of a threat, then, I mean, have a nice night.

Ahh. I assumed when they had CF or FF it would only be even-strength. That would make sense.

Bernier has 16 CA and 9 CF at ES on the link you posted, which is 64%.

Which would be the same as the teams, right?

I dont understand any of stats.

Don't worry, man.  It's kind of like listening to engineers at the water cooler down at the Jet Propulsion Lab.

At even-strength the Penguins had 16 shot attempts and the Leafs had 9.
