Bernier sucks crap this evening

I agree with you, and will add, that he IS NOT a #1 goalie in the NHL.... not even close.....

Based on what exactly?

His play in the 2014/15 season so far, and the salary bestowed upon him.... he leads the league in sh*t goals against so far.... anything else?

Oh how things change in a month and a half.

While tonight's goals haven't been a direct reflection of it, he's openly admitted that his knee is still bothering him. He's almost certainly trying to compensate for some decreased mobility, and, well, it's not working out so well for him.

Oh yeah? I hadn't heard that before. Good thing Randy's probably going to start him in all the non-back-to-back games for a bit.

You have to expect a goalie to make a save once in a while.

So you're basically admitting that your criticism has nothing to do with the quality of the chance or the normal expectation of a goalie to stop that specific shot but instead just that Bernier should by virtue of luck, make more timely stops.

Well, then, you're right. Bernier is running dangerously low on magic pixie dust.

Yeah and it's been bothering him a while apparently, I'd rather give him a few weeks off to heal.
