Same draft as Luke Schenn, Alex Pietrangelo, Doughty and Stamkos.

He was drafted in the Schenn draft when defensemen went #2-5. Doughty, Bogosian, some guy named Pietrangelo, then Schenn, in that order.

I like this signing, was kind of hoping for it to happen but didn't expect it.
Pretty low risk for 1 year at 1 million.  This gives us a little more much needed size and reach for our backend depth guys.

It's good. They spent a fair price to acquire a bottom pairing penalty killing defenseman who just did that job reasonably well for the team that won the cup.

I know next to nothing about Bogosian, so I did some quick googling to find some scouting reports and what I?ve read is he was drafting as a offensive defenceman and that didn?t pan out and he morphed into a shut down dman who hits and stands up for his teammates.

I don?t know if any of that is accurate or even close to reality, but isn?t that what fans and Brian Burke have been yelling for?
 
This is good. Bogosian as a bottom pairing/7th guy is a good signing. Gives Keefe options.
Well done Dubas. And I still think he tinkers more.

Is Bogosion the studious, binder-loving type? Because it'd be great to have insider notes on the structure and schemes Tampa deploys.
 
Great signing. Adds the punishing aspect the leafs need in the bottom pairing, and replaces the sorely missed scapegoat for all the leafs problems when they lose that Polak vacated.
