An example of what I mean

Player skating into offensive zone, falls flat on his face, slides helplessly in front of the net puck bounces in after being deflected off the players body.

Leafs prospect? "Player has suspect skating ability/is lazy/gives up on the play/lacks heart/was lucky other player was able to score despite being a man down because prospect was on the ice.

Any other team? "Player has great on-ice vision, got himself low to direct it expertly past the goaltender, didn't give up on the play, probably should have been a Leafs penalty, can you believe they got him in the X position in the draft?"

Your example is something that's absolutely never happened before?

I think something that fans occasionally forget is that not everyone who watches these games watches every game or follows the league super-closely. So while Carey Price being one of if not the best goalie in the game is something we're all aware of and don't need being told, not everyone is us and just from a neutral point of view the best goalie in the world playing is an important element of every game he plays.

Of course, it's heavily exaggerated, but that overall theme happens all the time.

It's easiest to spot with the goaltending call in my opinion, Reimer made some great stops last night, one in particular, a backhand from about 10 feet in the slot, Hughson called it a weak backhander and gave him zero credit for the save.

I'm not asking for a Leafs bias, I'm asking for an impartial approach, they are absolutely alienating their largest viewer group and based on the Exec from Sportsnet's comments about Healy, they are doing it intentionally.
