I don't even know what this team would be without great goaltending.  It's scary to think about.

Sure you do.  We'd be down around 11-12-13 in the conference, and only that high because of the first line.

Our defense is terrible, and Carlyle sucks.  Until those two things are addressed, this team is going nowhere.

The Leafs are only good because their best players are good.
I know right?  Its scary to think where this team would be if they didn't have any good players.... ::)

People need to take a valium everytime they lose a game....i mean were people expecting them to run the table till the end of the season?

Keen observers will notice that these discussions don't just crop up after losses but have in fact been on-going discussions all season long.

In fact, I feel like some of the more extensive discussions have come up after wins.

The Leafs are about average.

Heck, I feel like this discussion has literally never stopped and what actually happens in the games is immaterial to its course.

That's up for debate...

In a conference of weaklings.

Doggone it, where's that valium?

The benefit of this compressed schedule is that Leafs play often and when they aren't playing there usually is a good game to watch. This leads to a very exciting first round of playoffs where we have games every night for two weeks.

If he's on the 4th line come game time then I officially give up.  Clarkson on the 2nd line though.

IF that's how it stays.

He's gotta be playing mind games or something, or that line is going to get a lot more ice-time than usually. Randy loves Kulemin. What point would he be making?

Perhaps he's just confirming what we've suspected all along - he's crazy.

I hope Kulemin plays on the 4th line.  It will be cool when Carlyle's decisions pushed MacArthur, Grabovski, Reimer and Kulemin off the Leafs meanwhile we will ice Orr and Clarkson next year.

Particulars about who's on what line aside, that's as good a line-up as the Leafs have iced this year.
