I never said it was a meaningful change to make, so no.
But if it weren't meaningful then why would it be something they do in response to the two losses? Why would that be a reason for the change? Changing things up after a loss, a bad loss even, makes sense if it's designed to actually implement change but that's pretty clearly not what this is. Change lines, change practice schedules sure but if someone on the Leafs had said "Well, the last two losses were pretty bad so we decided that everyone had to buy a new aftershave" I'm guessing we'd think it was a pretty odd response.
I mean, that doesn't even make sense from the standpoint of superstition. If it's something the Leafs have done after every win then a superstitious person would think it would continue.
