Both Olden and Broll had their OHL seasons end, as their teams did not qualify for the playoffs. They are both reportedly joining the Marlies for their stretch run and playoffs. All the other prospects will be participating in the playoffs and I'll update their progress as the rounds ends.

Can someone update this. Other than our marlies along with McKegg and Ross, is there any other prospects still playing?

Andrew Crescenzi is still playing after the Rangers 6-3 win in Game 7 against Plymouth last night. He has 4G and 5A in 11 games. The Rangers will face the London Knights in the Western final.

In case you missed them, there's an update at the end of the regular season here and and update of the first round of the playoffs here. I've been waiting for the 2nd round to end before doing another one, so that will come later tonight.

Looks like Brad Ross can get the puck in the net. Not to shabby with Carrick (whom I have a gut feeling about), McKegg (whom can bartend my next BBQ) and Cresenzi who seems to have been on the Leaf radar for at least 3 years. Maybe he can develop something.

Brad Ross

Playoff Totals1512820+938

-Portland swept Tri-City in the semi-finals
-Was named WHL's player of the week with 2 goals and 2 assists in 2 victories
-Portland is currently 1-1 against Edmonton in the WHL finals

Greg McKegg and the London Knights will be playing game 5 against the Niagara Ice Dogs at 7pm tonight. The Knights are currently up 3-1 in the OHL Finals, one win away from a championship. McKegg is pointless in his last 3 games and has only 2 points in the series.

The game will air on all Sportsnet channels for those interested.

The London Knights defeated Niagara last night 2-1 to win the OHL Championship and earn a trip to the Memorial Cup. McKegg was pointless in the game.

Brad Ross could potentially join McKegg in the Mem Cup, but his Portland Winterhawks are currently trailing Edmonton 3-2 in the WHL finals. Game 6 is tonight. Ross has just 2 points in the first 5 games of the series.

McKegg has been banged up in the postseason but this has been nothing short of a disappointing run with the Knights.  London has a young team and rather than McKegg stepping up and being a leader he's really been a peripheral guy on the team both in terms of leadership and on-ice performance.  Stats in junior hockey need to be taken with a grain of salt, but if he can't get his game up to the next level with a great chance at reaching the Memorial Cup, that's concerning.  McKegg really doesn't have anything about his game that will keep him in the NHL on its own (as in he's not a faceoff whiz, or a shutdown PK'er, or a guy who has a gifted shot/passing ability).  McKegg's going to be an NHLer because he has a lot of talent but is going to have to work really really hard to stay in the NHL as something more than a Tim Brent/Ryan Hamilton kind of guy.

Portland was able to force a game 7 in the WHL finals but lost to Edmonton by a score of 4-1. Ross finished the series with just 2 points in 7 games. A disappointing finish after having scored 19 points in his previous 11 playoff games. He still finished 5th in playoff scoring, although 3 of his teammates were ahead of him.
