Burke can't come out and say "we're tanking" for obvious reasons.

I always hope for the best when I watch them - even tonight. Can't help myself. But once the game is over, I hope they don't win another point because they could really use a top pick. Hopefully, they get something better than Kadri or Schenn this spring.

Agree with you here 110%

Anyone else following Galchenyuk with some intrigue? Hasn't played a gam all season and it's hurt his standing, but apparently he's got very high end potential.

I've seen his name in the 3-8 range but like you, I know little about him.

Yeah, I can't join the 'tank' notion of cheering against the Leafs, but at this point when they lose I'm ok with it if it means they get within striking distance of a lottery pick.

I've said before that if we miss out on Yak/Grig he's my guy.

He's playing in his first game of the season tonight.

Tank! Tank! Tank! get rid of Burke all together and find a decent goalie in the off season...

There is the solution we have all been waiting for

How many times will you be spewing your rhetoric?

Why is everyone so insistent on drafting a forward when our defence needs the most help and there is a stud named Ryan Murray available around the # 4 spot.

You'd say no to a guy that could be Nugent-Hopkins calibre? I would definitely take that chance on a skilled playmaking centre. They don't come around very often - just look at the Richards sweepstakes.

I think porous defense can be fixed, but you can't teach creative offense.

Yeah but if Murray was the BPA when the Leafs draft, I'd take him.

I'm glad the Leafs are tanking now...hope it continues..because we are heading to a great draft pick...what we didn't have in the Kessel trade year...Something to look forward to like cheering for the Habs for the 1st time ever ..so they can pass the Leafs...go habs go.

Of course Burke cannot say "we're tanking" but the players can... and they have said as much by their on ice performance.

Florida has won 3 more games than Toronto, and they are 11 points ahead and are 3rd in conference.

What a crazy league the NHL is.

13 OT/SO points and they STILL have a worse GF/GA ratio than us, even after this appalling stretch.
