Oilers @ Maple Leafs - Nov. 16th, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

No...hopefully 88s deal, maybe 500K more.
He's better than Nylander. Nylander has a swagger that I like but Marner is better defensively, more consistent at playing both sides of the puck and time will tell in the postseason but he's showing some feistiness this year.

I have no doubt he's better. I'm hoping he takes 12 max and that would be leaving money on the table. There is talk the Cap may go to 95 or 97 next year

Watching Skinner and it is baffling. He looks great and then looks awful. We have had some Leaf goalies like that. Having the 2 goalies we have now I had forgotten how bad it was for us in the past and how bad Skinner played that shot. There was so much space on the far side when it was the side Tavares was if Marner got it to him. Glad Skinner plays for Edmonton and not Toronto...

Any how...Go Leafs!

I'm getting Florida Panther vibes from the Leafs lately..... forechecking hard.... and capitalizing on mistakes.

Obviously the start to the season has been a bit up and down.

Last year the Leafs were 10-6-3 through 19 games. This year they are 11-5-3 despite Matthews being hurt/missing 6 games and counting while learning a new system.

Lots of overall positive things so far.

Reaves wears the Parros brand of merchandise sometimes, so that gets him a bit of an extra pass.

No one likes seeing an injury, but I kind of think both fanbases are okay with both of those players not playing for awhile.

Just watched McMann's second goal again. Bouchard better have been completely out of breath, because otherwise that was the worst effort I've ever seen.

Not 100% positive but I think he had a pretty lengthy shift, then a very short rest and back out again for another. You're right though, if he wasn't that's inexcusable.
