No kidding Ray, Andersen is getting pounded like a cheap cut of beef.
That's the main thing that ticks me off about this team. Someone needs to do some crease clearing. Knock some guys on
their asses.

why aren't they resting Anderson a bit? Especially as the Panthers are head hunting.

No reason to pull a goaltender in a game he is scheduled to get a win in.  Teams just don't do that.

Why not, in baseball they pull a pitcher when he is well ahead to rest him. It all BS, macho hockey shit.  They need to start adopting what the Raptors have been doing with load management. Hell Marleau looked like an all-star after the break...rest Freddo more, and Hainsey and Marleau a lot before the battle with Boston.

I actually agree with you.  That being said I think it's kind of funny with all the "do what the Raptors are doing" talk that this is being declared before it has won them anything.  The Raptors lost out on home court throughout the playoffs by using load management and they haven't won a playoff game yet let alone a playoff series to tell if it will actually amount to anything.

Huberdeau has some zip on that. Mostly due to the ridiculous amount of time and space they generated on that PP.

Nothing says toughness like waiting until your team is being blown out to throw cheap hits.

Plays like that one where they bump Andersen makes me miss Polak. Someone would have gotten a punch in the face by now.

Yeah, I have to say I'd like to see some animosity when they bang our goalie.

Or our leading scorer.  Boss.

Makes sense that the Leafs get the extra penalty for a questionable hit from the Panthers.

I don't know why one guy doesn't stick to a main weapon on the PP like Huberdeau. Brown really let him go.

The Leafs try to out number the puck. If the pass is walled off, no biggie that?s a clear. On the (much lower) chance the pass goes through, one guy has a clear lane. They stop it more often than not, but the ones that get through are more memorable.

I mean this is clearly a period where the Leafs stopped playing defense after going up big.  I'm not really concerned about this.

Yep, they took off the last part of the period.
