Frequently, when a Pittsburgh player got the puck, they were quickly on them.
Hard to make sense of this roster.

I've been pulling for McMann. Really enjoyed him getting that goal.
 
Sometimes when a top player is out of the lineup the rest of the roster perks up and dials in.

Kind of reminds me of how the old leafs used to respond when Sundin was out of the lineup. Of course those teams didn?t have anyone close to a Marner, Nylander or Tavares to help out.

You can tell that the team is figuring it out and they are doing it with some important injuries still and the inevitable trade to improve the defense.

There?s definitely a good team in there. There was a lot of change to the roster this summer, so hopefully it?s just that it?s taken some a little time to gel.
