Player Safety continues to not really care about player safety.

They?re going to say this was a hockey play (gloved punches to the back of the head are not dangerous = consistent with Bettman?s interpretation of CTE) and there was no injury from the assault, hence just a fine.

Nevermind that they normally come down hard on retaliatory actions with intent after non-calls that injured a player because the offender was not wearing blue and white.

Said it numerous times league and Parros are a joke.

Looked like such an innocuous play - a pretty typical hit after a dump-in. He does have a history with knee injuries, though.

Interesting to see the interpretation of the Laine incident.  Habs fans reactions range from why did Laine stick his leg out to all out making threats to Leafs star players.
