his commitment to reengaging after losing the puck is very lacking. He could have stopped that play dead. Instead, he sat flat footed. This was followed by a back check that looked like he couldn't make up his mind on how fast to skate. Which is fine, because really, the D should have handled the play easily. But, if you're going to let up and not be the first F back, your opposing player that you're suppose to pick up in the high slot better not score.
The second goal on that highlight falls on Cowan for not flattening the player. He tried to stick pick the puck twice instead of taking bodies and forgetting about the puck. Find a stick. Get body on body. Simple hockey.
