R1, G2: sens @ Maple Leafs - Apr. 22nd, 7:30pm - SN, TSN 1050

Watched the OT goal a few times.
Often Benoit will go for a skate but he tends to cut out about halfway to the goal to get back on D.
Last night, that was not the case.
The smothering screen (and jump) by Benoit was brutal timing for Ullmark. He couldn't see it.
A few other observations
Robertson had good inside backchecking position on Batherson which helped force the turnover/errant pass
OEL had Zetterlund, Benoit had position on Cozens
At the time Batherson made the errant pass that Benoit picked off, there were 8 Sens on the ice (some changing)
There were still 8 Sens on the ice as Benoit started to skate out of the Leafs zone and 7 when he got to the blue line with only one Sen near their bench - they had too many men on the ice according to the NHL visualizer
By the time they got to the Sens zone, 4 Sens were left plus Zetterlund who was at the Sens bench for a change.
Sens couldn't stop a 2 on 4 and the rest is history
A whole calamity of errors.
