I think we can play with this team, so hopefully Saturday demonstrates that.
Derk said:Wait how did cross-checking become spearing? Did Orr do something stupid or is Yahoo Sports a little goofy? They have Komarov and Orr with spearing penalties in the 3rd period... is that right?

Jagr has almost as many playoff games under his belt as the entire Leafs' roster. Like I said a few days ago, this series is a real trial by fire for the team. They failed that trial tonight, but, there's still a lot of hockey left to play before it's all said and done. If the Leafs can cut down on the giveaways and the penalties, they'll be in every game.

But what I feared Coming into this matchup was the boys would look and be completely overmatched, and that is showing tonight. Time to put this aside and regroup for Saturday because it's not going to get easier.

His crucial pass lead to the only goal of the game. He wasn't the problem tonight.

He got us into the playoffs.. but it was a shortened season, and Advanced Stats showed there was regression due.. The only thing that showed improved was our PK (which was a massive improvement) but defensively we've still sucked as we have for years now.
no chance firing a coach who won a stanley cup for one bad series.
I suppose.. Though I think I remember reading Nonis wanted Eakins to replace Wilson.

He blocked a shot late in the second. It seemed to sting.

I also wish that someone had crushed Boychuck for his awesome hit on Grabovski too.
