So close...man it would've been nice to take a 2-0 lead to the 3rd

It's OK.  A lead going into the 3rd?  I'd have taken that every time if offered before the game's start.

Really liking Liles in this game

I was gonna say the Fraser injury might have been a blessing in disguise. The way to beat the Bruins is with speed and skating. Having Liles in adds another skating defenseman option that Leafs didn't have before.

Just play the same in the third and they will have great future. Matching and even overpowering Boston when the play very good, is great for the inexperienced Leafs team.

Just keep the same focus for the third!

I'd actually be very comfortable going into next season with this as our top-6. Even the Liles-O'Bryne pairing. Other than the one awful giveaway to Jagr O'Byrne has been pretty decent. I doubt he gets re-signed though.

Chara can't even handle being breathed on with out going bat crap crazy.
Must be some kind of flashback from the early 2000s when he got destroyed 3 times in a row in the battle of Ontario, including a sweep...

Franson has been great defensively tonight.  The pairing with Gardiner is working well.

And as the studio guys just said, Liles' quickness is helping them move out of the zone much better.

It is a little disappointing the coach has to be forced in to playing an all skill lineup (if only orr would go down .... in the gentlest possible way)

I like the puck moving smooth skating D but it sure is nice to watch O'Byrne grab Chara and not be scared. Couple games back he grabbed Lucic and kinda stopped Lucic like a smaller D just couldn't.  Made Lucic a little less effective that night. I wouldn't be against keeping him around he just needs to concentrate on D and leave the offence to partner.

Hey refs, that's what happens when you let everything go for half the game.

And you know what scares me?  They'll try and clamp down in the 3rd and start handing out BS penalties.

My only prediction is that there won't be over time cos I don't have to get up for work tomorrow.
