Indeed and at 5M it would be a one year deal as teams have to be careful about how toxic he could be.

Maybe that's the comparative dollar amount of his take home if he played in NA because KHL players are close to tax free.
 
He will be paid 1.2 billion rubles over 4 years which is 9.2 million dollars a year tax free. :o

They also signed his brother so they could play together.

Yeah I can't blame Radulov here. He's a Russian born player staying in his own country and paid like a king, how can he turn that down?
