Looks like I missed another game where the scoreboard folks are angry and the Trust the Process folks are encouraged.

Just don't post this in the playoffs.  Scoreboard and TtP need to merge starting Game #83.  :) :o 8) :o :P :)

Yeah that?s when the priority is the final result, but the point is to play in such a way that maximizes luck in your favour as consistently as possible, i.e. have the puck more, shoot the puck from dangerous parts of the ice on net more.

The way to do that consistently is to build the process of your play to make that your normal (build up the foundation and floor of team performance), not always relying on line stacking on a nightly basis. The Leafs are on the right track in terms of potential success for the coming playoffs and the years to come.

Didnt see the game tonight, but it doesn?t matter.  Truth is the Rangers are a terrible team.  This a game they should win.  Dont really care about the other teams goaltender.  Losing to shit teams in late March doesn?t bode well and everyone on this site knows this.

As others have pointed out, this is where you?re completely wrong. If you don?t watch the game, you can?t form an accurate opinion about how it was played.

Watching the game is critical, as is checking the final result set of shot share situations (because eyes/feelings are liars). Natural Stat Trick?s game report is how I review a game I didn?t get a chance to watch as I can see who had the chances and where they came from.

I caught most of the game. They absolutely deserved to win; they played well all around.

how the hell was there no penalty on Staal for trying to break Tavares's back?

I thought there was. Did I miss something?

On that note, I was impressed with D'Angelo for trying to protect Tavares.

You'd better be right or I'm canceling my subscription to you.

Another insightful post. Why say anything at all, if you have no skin in the game. If you didn't watch the game, how can you give your opinion on the game....because, you can't have an opinion on something you haven't experienced.

The Leafs played excellent and met a brick wall. Rielly was fantastic. The puck followed him around the ice. I loved seeing Matthews emotions when things just weren't bouncing for him. It shows he wants this.

This team will be just fine. We all know that the series against Boston will be a tough one. Probably one of the better first round match ups of the playoffs.

Ah yes, there was. Let me rephrase my question: why is Staal a douchebag?

He grew up in Thunder Bay.

And played his Junior in Sudbury. Douche bags. All of them.
Reminds me of the story, a guy tells an associate, I am going to Thunder Bay. The guy snorts "the only thing they have in Thunder Bay is Hookers and Hockey Players".  First guy say in shock "But my wife is from Thunder Bay"!!! To which the associate responds  "Oh really what position does she play"? ;)

The "ignore" function is your friend, fellas.  It's made my life three levels happier.

How to use ignore?
Go to your profile. Hit modify profile. Click on buddy/ignore list... Edit ignore list, add member you want to ignore.

Ahhh OK thanks. I always assumed you would click on the persons account you want to ignore. I never thought of going into mine.

I had thought the same and given up in frustration. It's been so bad with a couple posters that I'd completely given up readying gameday threads during the actual game because they made me enjoy the game so much less. Glad to know there's a way to remove them after all.

Another execrable change in OT.

I don't think Matthews makes that change unless he has literally nothing left in the tank, and from the looks of it he didn't.

Yeah, you're right.
I couldn't believe that's when he chose to change. I thought to myself game over and it was. I guess he was spent but maybe he was out too long then? I always hate when the goalie makes the initial save and gets hung out to dry like that. Anderson did his job and his teammates let him down.

Glen Sather looked liked Dick Tracey that night, hilarious getup.

I hear you man, ignore works real gud in a browser but not at all in tapatalk.  I wonder if the forum software will ever be updated to something more modern.  I've seen some forum software where not only is the forum auto-formatted great for mobile phones, but the ignore feature makes a person totally disappear too.  You don't get any of that "you are ignoring this user", you just don't see their posts *at all*.  It's quite amazing.

Making them disappear would be an added bonus lol...

It's funny, it just makes browsing a forum so much more enjoyable if you can totally get rid of someone that really annoys you.  The funny thing is, if someone else quotes the person you're ignoring, you'll see that someone else's reply, but it'll look like they're replying to a blank message.

That would be funny and awesome. I'm enjoying the ignore option. It has made game day threads so much more enjoyable. It's actually nice reading other's views, both positive and negative without having to read the sky is falling crap with every goal against or bad play.
