Julien: "We've built our team a certain way, want players to be two-way players. Players who don't play two-way game don't last long with us."

Unfortunately he went on to finish by saying that guys who engage in orchiectomies are A-OK in his books.

LOL Had to look that word up!

Bruins tie it up 2-2 in the third. Lucy gets the goal then thumps his chest like a silver back gorilla.

Dive or no dive?

Dive or no dive?

Slowed down, I bet that a lot of guys loosing their footing after fairly minimal contact would read as a dive.

The only thing that makes me think dive is that it looks like the Boston player reaches back to grab the Detroit player before spinning around and going down.

Especially when you're not at all expecting it. It doesn't look like Chara had a clue Bertuzzi was coming in behind him.

Boston 4  Detroit 2.  Bruins win series 4 games to 1.

To many observers, this was an 'easy' series for Boston to win.  But to the Bruins, it was merely what they do best -- play well overall in all areas -- which got them the best record in the NHL and in the Eastern Conference.  It was an area that once belonged to the great Red Wings teams of Stanley Cups past.  Not anymore, not for now anyway.

Boston proved methodical against a Detroit squad that at times looked 'tired' and slow.  The rebuilding Wings are no longer the dominant team they once were.  Someday though, all that will change.

For now, it's Boston's turn at dominance, something they hope to carry with them against their next opponent in the Semi-finals, in this case, the Montreal Canadiens, no slouches themselves.  The Habs and the Bruins rivalry strikes up again!

It wasn't even close. Not that it's a blame on the Red Wings...they Bruins are just that much better.
