I'll take your word for it but 26-11 is what's being reported as the shot total.

Like I said though, while in my entirely ignorant head that shot-total reads like a lackluster game on both sides I can absolutely buy it being misleading in parts.

Unlike that Leafs game against New Jersey where one out of every 3 shots was getting counted, that's a pretty accurate shot total for the Islanders today too. They were atrocious for a random regular season game let alone a Game 7 playoff game.
