I'm still waiting for some of these top flight teams to start employing their "don't give up any one goal leads" strategy that Carlyle stubbornly refused to implement all year.

Montreal is considered a top-flight team now?
Manson said:That was an unbelievable performance by Price. I'd say he took away 3-4 goals and this was more of 5-2, 6-3 type game. Boston dominated all game, won every period, but Montreal steals one courtesy of Price. He's really dialed in at the right time, either that or this is just how good he is. If he can keep it up, who's to say they can't win it all?
What makes this so important in this series is the frustration factor. That's how Montreal gets Boston off their game. You can only go so long outplaying another team with nothing to show for it before you start getting stupid, and that's how Montreal always does it against Boston. If this continues into game 2, then Boston is in big trouble.

I am a big Pernell hater for various reasons, but would defend him to no end when it comes to this garbage. Nice that the Bruins came out and took a stand right away.LittleHockeyFan said:louisstamos said:It's Joel Ward all over again...

that's just terrible. I don't like Subban much either, but it's because he's a hab, not because of his colour. This just makes me sick :-(
Potvin29 said:Then there's the whole fact that the Bruins drafted Subban's brother...

Which will prevail between shooters and skaters?
