Round 2: (C3) Chicago vs. (W1) Minnesota

That Toews would be, at best, his 5th choice.

4th at best.

1) Crosby
2/3) Stamkos
2/3) Malkin

Toews would be in the next grouping with Ovechkin/Getzlaf/Tavares. Not sure where I'd put him, but as a peace offering to LHF I'll just say 4th.

I'd put him at 2 right in between Crosby and Stamkos.  He's just a winner, plain and simple.  Until Stamkos wins something, I got to put Toews ahead of him.

If you swap Toews for Stamkos on their respective teams, I don't think Tampa wins the Cup.

I just think Toews is better than all of them defensively...Wins the big face offs. So responsible.. I can see Crosby and maybe Stamkos (not as good in own end) but no way would I place Malkin ahead of him. While very talented way too streaky and moody

Minnesota 4  Chicago 2.  Series tied at 2 apiece.

Talk about playing it loud.  As in the Minnesota crowd and what playing in front of a home crowd can do for a team.  Just ask the Wild's Jared Spurgeon and he has this to say:
"It's been fun to play here. I don't know what it is, but we have to find a way to bring that on the road as well," said Jared Spurgeon, whose third-period goal gave the Wild a cushion for the final stretch while the fans cheered and chanted louder and louder.

Spurred on by the home crowd (and some luck particularly on Pominville's goal). Minnesota certainly handed it to the 'Hawks to even their series.

For this year's playoffs, Toews stands above others (comparing captains)...
