4th in the league in points now, 3rd in regulation/OT wins, 3rd best goal differential.

pfft. 3 points out of a wild card spot and 9 from being out of the playoffs.

Did Marner?s reaction to the gwg look off to anyone else?

Probably nothing, but I wonder if he?s a little salty about getting chirped in the room.

This post would go great on the cover of whatever hockey's version of the National Enquirer is.

one of my rituals is reading all the game posts in reverse order from end of game to first. No comment on this so I will make it. When playing the worst team in the league (although they put in a good effort last night), why didn't we start Sparks, he had a good game the other night and I thought it was time to give Andersen more rest. Nothing major but Coach Highlander would have considered it and also would have benched Zaitsev.  Johnsson would be a better D man than him.

They don't play again until Saturday, not reason not to play your #1 goaltender

What was he getting chirped about?

Especially since Sparks had a B2B start this past weekend and has another one coming up this weekend. However looking ahead the next B2B isn't until the end of the month. There's 7 games in 14 days before that. Hopefully they do try to fit Sparks in there somewhere, maybe even right in the middle game against St. Louis.

If you watch it in real time, he first tries to get out of the way of Hyman's stick as they come together. I then think he was just uncomfortable with Rielly and Hyman smooching.

I notice that too, live.  But when they replayed the celly, he was grinning from ear to ear the moment before this still was taken.

Macht nichts.

Marner to Hyman. Marner to Tavares. Matthews Austoning.
JT's career high is 38 goals. Safe to say with Mitchy feeding him he's on pace to obliterate that  :D

We're only 28 points out of last. Lose for Hughes?

That's got a nice ring to it. Think how pissed Marner will be when Hughes hits all his schedule B bonuses though. Maybe we'd better not.
