Game Notes
OTT
-Linus Ullmark (17-11-3, 2.68 GAA, .911 Sv%) will likely start for the sens
-Ottawa has been one of the bigger surprise teams in the league this season. They are currently on a 5-game winning streak that's saw them jump up to a somewhat comfortable 5-point lead on the 1st wild card spot
-The sens made a big splash on trade deadline day sending Josh Norris to Buffalo for Dylan Cozens. Cozens has 4 points in 4 games with his new team so far
TOR
-Joseph Woll (22-12-0, 2.78 GAA, .905 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
-The Leafs had the day off on Friday so not much to say here regarding any potential line-up decisions. All eyes will probably be on Nick Robertson at the morning skate to see if the winger will sit out for a 3rd straight game or not

Key for me is moving 88 to the third line to give him the easiest matchup. Many have said it all year....we need to spread them out over 3 lines. Let's hope it goes well because the lines have been stale. 88 should also help Laughton get going as well. Looking forward to seeing how it works out.

I've been interested since the playoffs last year to see this line tried this season
Knies — Matthews — Domi

This is probably my favorite two-way line of the season:
McMann — Tavares — Marner

Good to see but what are the odds the new lines last into the third period? I guess it depends...come out on fire and dominate the game and they last, come out and struggle and they get switched back before the end of the second.

Really have no idea what to expect tonight.

Excited about this new mix.

Moving Knies Matthews Domi to third line status with 13mins of sheltered ice time might take pressure off AM34 and give room for Nylander Laughton Jarnkrok to shine. These boys are good enough to be L2 on most teams.

Well I still think Matthews for just sit for awhile, but if that's off the table then taking Marner off his line is probably the next best option. Not just to spread things out more but because that means Matthews' line will have much less defensive responsibilities and will give him slightly easier minutes to play.
they would be doing something to get Holmberg outta there. The guy is useless

He's one of those guys who flashes some good skill but only occasionally. He's not useless though. Very good at drawing penalties this season.

I don’t like Brady, but he is an exceptional poop disturber. If Knies can do even 50% of that without being a giant piss baby (fortunately does not appear to be in his nature), and jam in some uggo goals every 3 games, 7x7 is not outrageous. At the moment, Knies doesn’t really try to become the centre of attention when he’s out there; he does usually line up with Matthews/Marner after all and it’s probably better to not drag them into a melee.
