Not that anyone should care about this, but I am watching tonite from St. Croix USVI -- formerly Danish West Indies.  Tomorrow we go to the second-biggest town on the island, Frederiksted.  I'll ask around and see if anyone knows about Andersen.  There are a LOT of Danish tourists here.
You are better in Christensted as the old buildings have been restored. One interesting fact is that the beach used in the end of the Shawshank Redemption is in Fredericksted (not really much there). And are some of the shots of Tim Robbins/Andy driving to his freedom in Mexico were all filmed in St.Croix. Weird yes.  I do some work there so know about these acute things.  Try Tavern 1844 for the best burger of your life, try the fois gras/truffle burger.  Heart attack on a plate but worth the triple by pass

Thanks Highlander, you obviously know it well here.  I don't, just been here a week.  My daughter has spent the last couple of months here working.  We are in fact in Christiansted, her apt is on King St. which I like.  The people are the best IMO, everyone has been supernice to us.

The Christmas Boat Parade last Saturday night was incredible.  Live DJs on two of the boats, live reggae on the boardwalk, etc.

Anyway, we'll try to hit Tavern 1844, tomorrow's our last full day before we go back home to 10F and a blizzard (as my wife just told me).

That is a horrendous penalty call. I can MAYBE see the goal be called off but never a penalty.

I disagree with this call on the ice. There was definitely contact, but it is initiated by Pavelski, and I'm pretty sure that shouldn't be a penalty.

Would've gone in even if Kadri wasn't there.

Yeah, bumping his right shoulder sure kept him from stopping something high over his left side.

So Andersen can get run over in other games and slight contact with an arm out of the crease equals a penalty?

26th in powerplay opportunities despite being one of the leading possession teams.

I could MAYBE see the goal being called off but in no way is that a penalty.  Refs have been pathetic towards Kadri ever since it was brought up how many penalties he was drawing.

There was more contact with Andersen on that play and TSN questions the penalty there but doesn't have a problem with the Kadri penalty.  Not sure I understand how there is this constant feeling that everything is Leafs biased.

It worked out pretty well there but that 4 forwards with one defenseman at the point PP formation leads to way too many SH rushes against.
