Vegas def got the best player but Tuch is a very good player. Krebs projects to be one and Ostlund is a good prospect. I think this trade will work for both teams.

Tuch has blossomed in Buffalo, for sure, but, at the time of the trade, he was more of a good 2nd line type. I'm not sold on Krebs - he's still young, but he hasn't shown much. Ostlund is a real wildcard. There's potential there if he can fill out his frame, but, if not, I don't think he'll be strong enough to make much of an impact in the NHL.

He did, but that's also because Buffalo were being stupid and refusing to let him have surgery that he was clearly going to have anyway.    Had they let him get his neck repaired and waited to trade him until after he returned to the ice they probably would have had a much bigger return on investment.

Just saw this...Rielly still leads all D men in 5v5 points. He really stepped it up for us.
 
Florida with another end of game brawl.  I really dislike that team.  They are dirty as hell and there is no consequence for it

I wouldn't call it a brawl but agree with the rest. They're a bunch of fake ass tough guys. I never understood why this is acceptable. The glove in the face bullshit that goes on especially in the playoffs takes so much away from the game.

Yeah brawl was probably too much, just the post game antics.  Drives me nuts because there are literally zero consequences for this garbage

Game is over and THEN they want to goon it up. Pathetic.

I was sort of hoping Florida would win, since then as a Leaf fan you can brag that your team lost to the eventual cup winners.  It's just really hard to get behind a team that are a bunch of dirt bags. 
 
In the other 3 series no way Bobrovsky lets that first one in, he's not playing as well and without him the Panthers have zero chance.

really sick and tired of matthew tkachuk (possible sp, but intentional I'm too lazy to look it up, he doesn't deserve that kind of consideration) whining about stuff when he does crap like trying to take off Pietrangelo's (spelled correctly because I do respect him) head off with his stick after the game is over. There's so many guys on the panthers to hate for how dirty they are. I hope the Knights end these jerks on Tuesday.....

and does anyone know why the hell there are two days between games now? grrrr

I mean even so, Adin Hill is shutting the door. Panthers aren't scoring enough to offset. They were only able to win games because they were riding Bob.
 
He has to come back next year just to get the 8 points, right? Get the 8 points, make the HHOF, ride off into the sunset on a giant hot dog.

As much as I initially thought that 2nd goal was in, I have no idea how the league can keep a straight face and call that a goal after watching that replay with the whistle being blown before it crosses the line. Ridiculous.
