Stars @ Leafs - Dec. 5th, 7:00pm - LeafsTV, SN 590

Is anyone surprised?  He jerked Bobby Ryan around when he had him too.  (Regarding the arbitrary benching of Rielly).

So when does Harry Neale join the broadcast?  Not during a Sabres game tonight.  Is he on Leafs TV?  or just random?

He's on Leafs TV.

I'm not sure they didn't just have him record a bunch of awful jokes and just play them back throughout the game.

Well, it may be badly reasoned but when you're on the ice for all three ES goals against in the previous game I don't think you can say it's arbitrary.

Basically the same thing.

Neale: I'm old!

Bowen/Millen: *laughs for 3 minutes*

This happens literally 5 times a game.

He laughs at literally anything Harry Neale says.  Even when he's not trying to be funny.

Alternatively:

Neale: I was a coach once.

Millen: I was a goalie once.

Bowen: *laughs*

Is anyone else just plain tired of watching this team spend 2/3ds of the game in its own end?  I don't care what kind of system you're supposed to play, that just can't be good.

We sure as hell don't seem to win many puck battles.

Millen said this was one of their better periods of late. Haven't watched much lately but good lord.

I mean, they had a couple good scoring chances, but no real sustained pressure or anything. They were still outshot by 8. Millen's either setting a really low bar or he's just pandering. Or both. Probably both.
