Stars @ Leafs - Mar. 14th, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

Maybe more Leaf players have the flu than we are aware of. They're certainly playing like they're sick.

This has been disgraceful, no effort at all for the majority of the game.

It's one thing to lose to a great team who just have more talent when you go toe to toe, but to get outhustled and embarrassed like this is unacceptable and it's why I don't think the team will make any noise in the playoffs.

Too many guys, veteran guys who have zero pushback and who are weak enough mentally to allow this to happen.

They had some mixed shifts earlier in the period.

Could be, maybe that's why Andersen went off too.

If you took a shot everytime someone on Sportsnet says "I'm not speculating, but..." you'd be dead after 30 seconds of every injury.

It looks like Marleau has had the flu for the past three months.

Is there any reason Hymen still has to be on the first line? Everyone has accepted it by now because Bsbcock. But should he still be there? Probably not.

Makes me think these guys don't really understand the meaning of "speculate".

I didn't really see any evidence of goalie interference on the play they are speculating about. It seemed pretty clear that Radulov (? think it was him) was pushed into the goalie.

The usual response from Babcock seems to be that "Matthews and Hyman need to be together" but since Matthews is out...why not change things up and see what happens? I agree with you on this one (and Marleau as well, but I've stated that a bunch of times before).

Let me speculate.  Radulov and Polak conspired to blow Andersen's hamstring, like they speculated.

New shuffle:
Marleau-Nylander-Hyman
Komarov-Kadri-Marner
JvR-Bozak-Brown
Johnsson-Plekanec-Kapanen

Check out Johnsson on that very nice sort out on the backcheck and IDing his guy, reclaiming the puck and getting an exit.

At least Hyman and Nylander are still stapled together. That is comforting.

It?s a good way to get everyone on their strong sides.
And each centre has a good give and go option in transition.
