I agree 100%.  Marner's effort and play was a bright spot.  Nylander really did not have a good game, nor did the D as a whole.

Leafs were actually pretty dominant for over half the game. A couple of mistakes in the 2nd period and that was it. Leafs responded well in the 3rd. Markstrom was excellent, Campbell wasn't.

Matthews was his usual super-dangerous self.  Kase had a very good bounceback game after getting clocked.

Holl I think actually righted the ship and played OK after a few lapses early.

MotM: Marner.  Guy is on fire.
HM: Campbell.  He didn't face a lot of shots but made a fair number of difficult saves.  One bad one but overall a strong game.  Hope it helps his confidence.
