The "Mr T" Man of the Match 2024-25 Edition

I think we can say Matthews is off to a pretty slow start. Knies has gotten votes in 5 out of 7 games, and deservedly so. Stolarz is the only one matching him so far.

Zero's for Rielly also stands out (in a bad way). Goes along with his 2 points in 7 games this season, while finally playing alongside the best partner he's had in his entire career.

Indeed, though he did look peppier last night. Maybe he can get it going.

I think people are giving Tanev far too much credit. It's pretty sad if he is indeed the best D Rielly has played along side in his career.

I mean aside from Tanev and Brodie in his first 2 or 2.5 seasons here Rielly's list of defensive partners is very, very sad yes.

PP problems: unit 1 has everyone who wants to score or hold the puck, but not enough people who will sacrifice their own production to commit to fetching the puck and shooting for jam plays.

PP2 has committed fetchers, but lacking legit finishers save for the guy that is not quite experienced at being a team player (Robertson).

It is time to split the units and make them compete against one another and elevate some other team members opportunities.
