The "Mr. T" Man of the Match SuperLegit Playoff Edition: The Duds of August

Well I did say "seem to not care". After the lack of effort last night (and many other nights recently) what else can you attribute it to? Every team has injuries, Leafs seem to crumble far more easily than any other teams.

It?s also hard to bring up injuries when the canes had multiple injuries last night and came together as a team and fought to win a game that they shouldn?t have won but deserved to win.

If we had lost both are goalies last night and David Ayers stepped in for us as the emergency goalie what do you guys think would have happened?

12-14 goals for the opposition, not even joking

This just reminded me of the flu game against Ottawa years ago.  That was a team that was fun to get behind.

OK, I just saw on Tapatalk that the board had a fatal error and we lost all the posts of the last couple of days.  I'll restore the MotM from last night's game.

And a good time to thank Rick Couchman for keeping this place alive.

MotM: Z. Hyman.
HM: K. Kapanen.

Great game by Matthews, Barrie, Marner, Marincin, and a plus mark to Freddie for shutting the door after sucking in the first.

Tough pick tonight.
Gotta go with
Matthews.
Hyman.. Both guys dominated both ends of the ice but Matthews was a little more dominating for me.
Taps to Barrie, Marincin, Holl and Sandin. JT was also a beast out there.

MotM: Martin "The Onion" Marincin.  His next goal is now scheduled for February 29, 2024.
HM: Travis Dermott.  I thought he made a whole bunch of good plays in the D-Zone tonite.

MotM: Marincin
HM: Matthews

The only way he could?ve taken the MotM from Marincin was if Matthews hit the hattie

Marincin
Matthews was beast mode all night. Big Nods to.. Dermott who was outstanding. He's really picked his game up.
Also to Freddie for some big saves to keep the lead.
