I fixed all the pins on my NES, so my wife and I have been having some pretty intense Super Mario Bros 3 fun.

Man, we really suck. I can't remember all the secrets and it takes me 3-4 tries to get through a level. I remember 30 years ago, I could finish that game in like 30 minutes.

I?m super early in RDR2 like 10% but it seems very slow, I?m sure if you just blast through the missions it?ll pick up and the pace will pickup, but it?s just so vast it?d fee like you?re missing out on the plethora of little side activities etc.

Maybe, and while I like it, it hasn't really upped the ante from the original. We'll see but I was hoping for more.

So I just started playing the FF7 Remake and while it's every bit as slow to get going as I remember it, it's a lovely modern adaptation of an old masterpiece. I'm actually shocked at how much I like the battle system. Fwiw I absolutely hated the random battles of those old school JRPGs.

This is random but whenever I try going and EASHL game with my created character as a drop in the thing doesn't actually load into any available games/slots. Does this happen with anyone else?

I've really wanted to like this game but there's too much going on and the mechanics are pretty brutal compared to the last iteration I played which admittedly was probably NHL 14.

Microsoft just announced that it is acquiring ZeniMax Media, the parent company behind Bethesda and ultimately the owner of some of the most popular game series in the world: Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Doom franchises among many others. It represents a massive expansion of Microsoft's slate of popular games as the company makes its subscription-based Game Pass service a focal point of its campaign for the upcoming Xbox launch.

$7.5 billion deal.

Not necessarily confirmed. My best guess would probably be that the big established ones would still be released on Playstation. Or maybe Xbox would get timed exclusives for some. It sounds like Starfield, a space RPG they've been working on, will be a Microsoft exclusive so newer/original titles might get that same treatment.

The big win for Xbox/PC users would be that all Bethesda titles are heading to Game Pass, Microsoft's gaming subscription service.
