I thought that walking dead was more of the same, they spent pretty much the whole episode looking for the girl again and then there was about 1 minute of intrigue at the end with what Glenn found in the barn.
So little seems to actually happen on this show.
Maybe so but more "happened" in last nights episode than the past 2 put together....without anything really happening.
I don't know, I find the show to be coming together at a snails pace. It's pretty remarkable actually considering all that happens in the comics and how quickly everything develops. At the end of every issue was a real shocker, something that made you say to yourself, "ok, how can they top this?" yet they managed time and time again.
I know they can't replicate the comics issue by issue and Robert Kirkman said himself that looking back he would have done some things differently but I can't help but think that at the very least taking the pace of the comics (something 'big' happening everywhere they turned) would have made for a really suspenseful, intriguing series.
And FYI, the real payoff is when the Governor Philip arrives. (which at this pace will be by season 12)
