Good pillow to cry into when you realize you don't have the Wire on Blu-rayNik the Trik said:Yeah, I saw the same deal. If I didn't already own the DVD copy and have a TMN subscription I probably would have gotten it. In fact, I still sort of regret not getting it.
But on the plus side, I did get this sweet pillow during the NHL store's sale the other day:

I dunno I was just being a jerk lol. Price was too good to pass up considering I didn't already own it. The show was actually originally shot in 16x9 format to "future proof" it even though it was originally broadcast in 4:3 format. Apparently the hd transfer is very good from everything I've read on it.Nik the Trik said:Zee said:Good pillow to cry into when you realize you don't have the Wire on Blu-ray
I admit that I'm not much of an A/V guy but I have to confess that I don't actually know what the deal is with something being on Blu-Ray if it was filmed before things were shot for the format? Is it actually better picture quality? Or is it like how when you'd get an old movie on DVD it would still look like an old movie.

I think your only option would be to subscribe to both the Sportsnet and TSN streaming services.

Bullfrog said:By legally, I really just meant that I'm willing to pay for legit services. If I pay for GameCentre, damn right I'll find a way to by-pass the blackouts. I'm geographically closest to Winnipeg and Minneapolis, but am in the Leafs' region.
